The tribe chose him as their chief because of his reputation for fairness and equanimity in his decisions. Under his leadership, the tribe enjoyed happiness, peace, and harmony.
However, one day, Antílope’s happiness was tarnished when his wife did not wake from her sleep.
At first, he thought she was just tired, but his attempts to wake her were in vain.
Antílope Intrépido seeks a remedy for his wife

The tribe’s shaman examined Antílope’s wife and concluded that she had been poisoned by a rare venomous plant that had plunged her into an eternal sleep.
Antílope desperately searched for an antidote, but neither the shaman nor the tribe’s elder knew of one.
The old person talked about an old story of a wizard who lived in a cave near a big river and grew a magic plant that could cure all poisons. But, no one knew exactly where the cave was.
Antílope, wanting to save his wife, went to the west without bringing anything for the trip. For days, he walked without stopping, without eating, and barely stayed alive by fishing in a quick and simple way.
Battles to reach the cure for his wife

«On his way, he met very dangerous things, including a scary bear and a hungry eagle.
Finally, he got to a big waterfall, where he decided to climb it to get away from the bear. The climb was very hard and dangerous, but Antílope showed amazing determination.
During the climb, he saw an eagle coming down at him.
Smartly, he beat the bird using a nearby bush.»
The sorcerer demands an explanation

After the tough climb, Antelope reached a stunning cave hidden behind a waterfall. Inside, he encountered the legendary sorcerer.
Antelope pleaded for the magical plant to save his wife, but the sorcerer paused, questioning why he should grant it.
In return, Antelope offered his kind and honest heart, explaining that he solely wished for his wife’s recovery.
The sorcerer, moved by Antelope’s goodness, agreed to the deal.
The bravery of Fearless Antílope

Together, they went back to Antelope’s group, where the plant cured his wife and made his people healthy again.
The magic worker kept his word and vanished on the horizon, leaving Antelope and his group with a future full of hope and success.
The tale showed Antelope’s courage, determination, and kind heart, and how being generous and offering selfless help in tough times matters.
